Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam is commonly known as VITEEE.
VITEEE is being conducted by VIT University every year. Vellore Institute of Technology conducts VITEEE Exam for the admission process of Btech Program in Vellore, Chennai, AP and Bhopal Campuses of VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology). To know complete details about VITEEE 2021 see below.
VIT was established in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College. And then in 2001 Ministry of Human Resource And Development gave it the status of Deemed University.VIT Vellore is the main campus of VIT (Deemed to be a University). Its second campus is in Chennai and third in VIT- AP at Amaravati and VIT Bhopal were started as state private universities.VITEEE 2021 is conducted for the admission process of the B.Tech Program in all campuses of VIT.VITEEE is a university-exam conducted on an India level basis for admission for the BTech Program.
VITEEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria
It is advised to every candidate that before applying for VITEEE 2021 Application Form, Check VITEEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria.
Nationality: Applicant should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National / PIO.
Note – Foreign Candidates studied/studying abroad can apply directly through foreign category only https://vit.ac.in/admissions/international/overview (application link will be enabled shortly)
Age – Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1999 can apply.
Qualifying Exam – Candidates must have completed the 12th Exam from any of the recognized board.
Final Year Student – Candidates who will complete their 12th in 2021 can also apply for VITEEE 2021.
Minimum Percentage of Marks – Aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in 12th and for candidates from SC/ST Category and Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North-Eastern states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, the aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in 12 are required.
Subject – Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry in 12th for B.Tech Programme.
Biology/Physics/Chemistry in 12th for –

- B.Tech. Biotechnology (VIT, Vellore)
- B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bioinformatics(VIT, Vellore)
- B.Tech. Electronics and Communication with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering (VIT, Vellore)
